You need to just visit the park two times in a twelve month span to get your money’s worth. Active Military Annual Pass: Free

The National Park Service provides free Annual passes to active duty military personelle. All you have to do is provide your active military id to a ranger at the Joshua Tree National Park entrance station and you will receive an annual pass valid for twelve months.
