The National Park Service charges the following for the Park Entrance Fee to enter Arches National Park:

  • Cost for Private Vehicles: $30
  • Cost for Motorcycle Fee: $30
  • RVs: : $35
  • Person (no car, bicylists, hikers, pedestrians) : $15

How long is the park entrance fee to Arches National Park good for

The national park entrance fee is valid for up to seven full days. Paying the national park entrance fee provides you access to entering the park, using the park’s facilities, and more. You can pay for your entrance fee at the fee stations where the park ranger will collect your funds. You will receive a receipt for your payment that you should display on your dash and a park map that details the various formations and a general guide to Arches National Park.

This pass is a great option for those looking to visit numerous national parks in 12 months.

4th Grade Annual Pass (USA Students Only)

Every Kid Outdoors initiative has created a free annual pass for all fourth graders. This pass was created to help inspire the next generation build an active interest and build wonderful memories by providing a free annual pass. Just sign up for a pass and print out your form at www.Everykidoutdoors.gov. Don’t forget to print out the form as electronic forms are not accepted.

Fee Free Days

To help park visitors save on fees and celebrate various holidays, the National Park system has six fee free days every single year. Keep in mind that the parks get very crowded on these days, so put that on your planning list if you are visiting on these fee free days. You just drive right through and skip paying the park entrance fee! Here are the six days that are fee free:

  1. January 18, 2021 – Martin Luther King Day
  2. April 15, 2021 – Start of National Park Week / & National Junior Ranger Day
  3. August 4, 2021 – Great American Outdoors Day
  4. August 25, 2021 – National Park Service Birthday
  5. September 25, 2021 – National Public Lands Day
  6. Nov 11, 2021 – Veterans Day

Senior Pass

The national park system also has life time passes for seniors for just $80. They also have annual passes available for just $20 for seniors. These passes are a great deal and after visiting just three parks then you will have already gotten your moneys worth for the life time pass.

Active USA Military Annual Pass

If you or your friend or family member is active in the US military you can get an annual pass for free! That is right you can enter national parks for free every year by showing your active military id to the park ranger at the entrance station.

Do I still have to pay the park entrance fee if I am only there for one day?

Unfortunately even if you’re only there for one day, you will have to pay the full price for the park entrance fee between $15-$35 depending on which vehicle you enter with. This is a fantastic national park and the entrance fee is well worth it as you will see amazing sandstone Arches and beautiful red rock landscapes. Not only will you get to see these stunning natural rock formations, but you will be allowed to use the park’s facilities, parking, and more!
